SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES Ada City Schools provide special education services to children ages three through twenty-one. Each child suspected of having a disability is provided a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary evaluation. Specific eligibility indicators, as outlined by the federal regulations of IDEA, are used to determine a child’s eligibility for special education and related services. Each eligible child is provided with an individualized educational plan (IEP), which addresses the specific educational needs of the child. In order to receive services, children must live in the Ada District (I019) and must be determined, in accordance with a multidisciplinary evaluation, as disabled and eligible for special education and related services. Individuals with questions concerning special education services should contact: Jane Baltimore at 310-7242.
